Dear Tyler, What Happened?
Dear Tyler,
It's come to my attention that you are no longer in a contractual relationship with Christine Nordhaus and/or Littleton Apothecary.
In a January 26, 2024 letter to the Planning Board, Christine wrote the following:
In 2021, I signed a contract to take investment and/or potentially sell Littleton Apothecary to a group from Connecticut.
The broad strokes are that this group would be required to pass muster with the Cannabis Control Commission’s rigorous personal and financial background requirements before anything happened.
This contract prevented me from reaching out to the Town or moving forward with “substantial use” of LA’s 160 Ayer Road location. The group caused delays that spanned years, to my regret and dismay.
Last week, that contract was dissolved, and I am once again free to move forward.
Now, I don't know about you, but I read Christine's words as implying that you (or people associated with you) failed to pass the CCC's "rigorous personal and financial background requirements," which would mean that you (or people associated with you) have a disqualifying criminal record or insufficient funds.
Are either of those allegations accurate?
Christine also makes the allegation that "this contract" prevented her from "reaching out to the town" (implying a "gag order" term in the contract) about the Apothecary, and that the "group from Connecticut" caused delays that "spanned years."
Are either of those assertions true?
Lastly, Christine asserts that "last week" the contract that she had with the "group from Connecticut" was dissolved.
Is this true? If so, would you be willing to share that contract and/or the details about this ever so conveniently timed dissolution?
Please understand that I don't believe a word that Christine Nordhaus speaks or writes because she has spoken and written untruths about me and others in the Town of Littleton.
It wouldn't surprise me if you (and the people associated with you) decided that working with Christine Nordhaus would not be worth the hassle, regardless of the potential payoff. If that's what truly happened, that's not what the people in Littleton have been led to believe.
Instead, we've been left to think that you (and people associated with you) are the problem and that because you couldn't pass the CCC's “rigorous personal and financial background requirements,” you are to blame.
I don't think it's as simple as Christine would like us all, here in Littleton, to believe.
I'm asking for your help to understand what happened. I can be reached by phone or text at 978.760.0482.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide, especially as that might pertain to blameworthy allegations of your criminal and financial unfitness,
Jenna
