Remember that $60k in Back Rent, Littleton?
In the spring of 2022—several months before Athena Assets sold 160 Ayer Road to MR3—Athena Assets received a check for all of Littleton Apothecary’s back rent.
The owner of Athena Assets remembers the check being “in the 60s”—so, at least $60,000.00 of unpaid back rent for Suite 4: Littleton Apothecary’s suite, where Matthew’s wife had been given her “license to print money,” aka, an HCA from the Select Board to sell cannabis.
That $60,000.00+ check was drawn from an account of a law firm: Lawson & Weitzen.
Thereafter, until Athena Assets sold about six months later, Littleton Apothecary’s rent would come in—on time and in full—via wire transfer from Lawson & Weitzen.
Three months ago, when I spoke to Littleton Apothecary’s landlord at 160 Ayer Road, he said that Littleton Apothecary’s rent was still coming in—on time and in full—via wire transfer from Lawson & Weitzen.
Matthew’s wife has been represented by The Mensing Group since the get-go. Therefore, it struck me as odd that this other law firm would be paying her rent.
Very odd indeed,
