You Might Want to Find Your Wife a New Lawyer, Matthew
In early November, there was an email back and forth among several parties:
Maren Toohill, Littleton’s Town Planner;
Lawson & Weitzen Atty. Glenn P. Frank, representing Masood Shaikh’s interests. As neither MRM or MR3 were mentioned (nor was KRISHA), the only reasonable conclusion to draw is that Atty. Frank was representing Shaikh’s individual, i.e., non-LLC-related, interests; and,
Mensing Group Atty. Quinn Heath, representing your wife’s interests
Thirteen days later, the Planning Board met and referred to the email exchange. It’s worth watching, starting at minute mark 1:54:50.
When Planning Board member Jeff Yates mentions that the Apothecary’s license is “being transferred,” Planning Board Chair Mark Montanari says that the Planning Board “shouldn’t be worrying about the lawyer who’s trying to buy it telling us what we should and shouldn’t do.”
Ultimately, the Planning Board voted to send the Select Board (your board) a letter telling the five of you that your wife did “fuck-all”—a phrase your wife taught me, which is British slang for “absolutely nothing.”
That vote was 30 days ago. Coincidentally, the very same day I first wrote to you.
Seems like just yesterday, doesn’t it, Matthew?
But getting back to that 3-way email exchange:
Quinn writes this:
Let me know if I can elaborate further or pull any applicable documentation.
If you attribute the responses to me as counsel for Littleton Apothecary LLC please confirm any changes to the text you make prior to submission to the Planning Board (or submit as written).
The Attorney representing the current owner of Littleton Apothecary who provided these answers is: Quinn Heath, Esq.

Now, Matthew, I’ve only known Quinn as one of Blake’s “Mensing Group” associate attorneys. So, naturally, I’m curious about Quinn’s change of employer and I go to that website that Quinn so thoughtfully included in his email to our town’s Planning Board on behalf of your wife.
Guess what?
Aw, I bet you already know, Matthew.
But for the people who might still be giving you the benefit of the doubt—the Ericas and Maureens of 01460—let me tell them this: Quinn’s nowhere to be found at Cable, Fleisher & Sosebee.
That firm, while clearly specializing in cannabis law, consists of three lawyers: Martin Cable, Isaac Fleisher, and Kyle Sosebee.
No Quinn.
Now, I want to be fair to Quinn since he’s worked so super hard for all sorts of clients who have come before the Town of Littleton to start their cannabis businesses and live their marijuana dreams.
Quinn formed KRISHA HOLDINGS LLC on February 7, 2022.
Quinn formed MATEL GROUP LLC on February 9, 2022.
Quinn’s filed documents on February 16 & 17, 2022 with the Sec. of the Commonwealth on behalf of MRM.
And, of course, let’s not forget that Quinn represented your wife (via that email exchange) and her interests in the Apothecary just last month, before our town’s Planning Board.
Now, it’s possible that Quinn’s just recently gone from the Mensing Group to Cable, Fleisher & Sosebee, and if that’s happened, it has to be recorded with the Board of Bar Overseers.
So . . .
Well, you already know, Matthew, Quinn’s bar registration is with The Mensing Group, not with Cable, Fleisher & Sosebee.
So, why would your wife’s “Mensing Group” Quinn (the one that Atty. Frank and Maren Toohill sending their emails to) reply from Cable, Fleisher & Sosebee on behalf of your wife?
What’s up with that?
TTYS,
Jkb
